TAKE A DIRTY SOCK AND JOIN IN

There may not be a sight more satisfying than – 

after immersing in soapy water,

then twenty or so lathering rubs,

as the foam starts to take on a slight tan,

and with the force of my shoulders behind my hands,

a wring! and out comes –

Caramel

Dirt,

Muddy water,

Visual indication of my sock’s reincarnation!
